I have been thinking a lot about our theme lately BLESSED TO BE A BLESSING. If we have been blessed—and we have—then we are to be a blessing to others. Of course we have been blessed with the spiritual blessing of new life in Christ. We hold out that truth to all. Then there are material blessings that we are meant to share with others. We gladly do that. But I am thinking of something else. . .
At this Christmastime, I am thinking of certain people. I had major surgery this summer. I am thankful for a faithful and funny husband. He has been by my side for almost 30 years. I am thankful for my aunt and uncle. They made a special trip up from NC to cheer me up. I am also thankful for my sisters-in-law. They kept me company. I am thankful for three co-workers. They came to see me. I am thankful for long time friends. They knew just what I needed. I am thankful for some church ladies. They made me feel very special. And I am thankful for Christians around the world. They uplifted us in prayer. I hope I can find ways to bless you all. Joann
